Currently an un-released, in-progress design, Nickerson is a revival and expansion of French Old Style, a popular late-19th century typeface produced in metal by numerous type foundries. Historic cuts of French Old Style (also known as Elzevir) often came in both text and display optical sizes, but only in one regular weight. Nickerson currently includes 4 optical sizes (Banner, Display, Text, and Micro) and 4 weights (Regular, Medium, Bold, and Black).
