I was part of a small team of designers that helped overhaul the over 1,500 signs in New York’s famed Central Park as part of a large-scale rebranding effort by the Central Park Conservancy. Personally I oversaw the design and production of a large percentage of wayfinding, location, and rule signs, and worked closely with the Conservancy's maintenance staff to ensure the needs in the field were met.
To help remedy the disconnect between Victory Gardens and its location at the historic Biograph Theater, I took the large area of windows that had previously been used for season / show specific advertisements and converted it to large signage for the theater, with stylized images of past productions and large type spelling out VICTORY GARDENS THEATER.
I designed a comprehensive set of exhibition panels and object labels for the SS United States Conservancy’s exhibition, “The Ocean Liner United States: The Past Present & Future of America’s Flagship” at the Forbes Galleries on 5th Avenue in New York. The final deliverables included 40 artifact labels, 23 text panels, and 3 large infographics.
